There are a number of ways to improve your home energy. Insulating your home reduces heat loss, saves you money on your energy bills, increases your home’s value and makes your home warmer & more comfortable.
Utilising renewable technologies like heat pump systems, solar panels and solar thermal systems reduces our reliance on resources like oil and gas that damage our environment. The SEAI provide a number of home energy grants to homeowners and landlords who wish to improve their home energy efficiency.

A Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) is an SEAI-affiliated volunteer organisation aiming to chart the energy usage of their local area and provide a roadmap of opportunities to get their area progressing to carbon neturality.
By partnering with local organisations & residents, an SEC should provide the groundwork of charting the area’s energy usage and the most impactful residential & community energy projects that can help the town reduce its energy output.
