Wexford Town Sustainable Energy Community (WTSEC) is a volunteer organization affiliated with Sustainable Energy Authority Of Ireland. This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

WTSEC collects the following data:

  • Website usage data – excluding Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
  • Survey response data – by voluntarily completing our survey, we may collect Email, Telephone, Address, Business Information data, Energy Usage data as well as any other voluntarily submitted information.
  • Contact information – by voluntarily submitting a contact form request, we will be collecting Name & Email data as well as any other voluntarily submitted information.
  • Email data – by voluntarily signing up for our email newsletter.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide WTSEC with  most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey
  • Voluntarily complete a Contact form
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s

WTSEC may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager

How will we use your data?

WTSEC collects your data so that we can:

  • Contact you in relation to a Contact Form query
  • Contact you (with your consent) following the completion of a survey
  • Email you recent information about our organization
  • Understand our user’s website behaviour and provide a better online experience
  • Understand how users find our website via channels such as Google/organic search or Social Media

If you agree, WTSEC may share your data with our partner organisations so that they better understand our users & their online behaviour:

  • Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland
  • South East Energy Agency

How do we store your data?

WTSEC securely stores your data in a secure database locally or via a trusted Third Party (i.e. Google)

WTSEC will keep your website data indefinitely. Please notify us if you would like your data deleted at any time.

Marketing

WTSEC would like to send you information about recent events and organization news via consented newsletter.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop WTSEC from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other partner organisations.
