SEAI Community Grants

The SEAI supports a wide range of energy projects across Ireland. These projects are managed by registered project coordinators. For a list of project coordinators please visit this page on the SEAI website.

How to get involved

An application must be fulfilled by a registered project coordinator.

If you are interested in starting or getting involved in a community project, you must contact one of the registered coordinators.

Project Criteria

1. Successful applications must incorporate partnerships with diverse organisations such as:

  • Community centres
  • Public sector facilities and schools
  • GAA clubs
  • Retail Outlets
  • Factories
  • Not-for-profit organisations and charities
2. Projects must be completed within 12 months
Applications can be made all year round and works must only commence after a ‘Letter of Offer’ is received.
